2008-09 District 308 Attendance Boundaries

Students from the Southbury subdivision who currently
attend Old Post Elementary School and students from the
area south of Southbury who currently attend East View
Elementary School will attend Southbury Elementary School.

Students in the Southbury area currently attending
Thompson Junior High School will attend Traughber Junior
High School.

Students in the Shore Heights and Shore Line
Estates area currently attending Traughber Junior High
School will attend Thompson Junior High School.

Incoming freshmen from Blackberry Knoll, Mill Race
Creek, Victoria Meadows, Winding Waters
and the Ponds at Mill Race Creek will attend Oswego
High School unless the Family Choice* option was approved by
March 31. The Family Choice option allows students who 1)
are incoming freshmen during the 2008-09, 2009-10, 2010-11
or 2011-12 school years; 2) have been transferred from
Oswego East High School to Oswego High School from one of
the affected subdivisions; and 3) have a sibling that
currently attends Oswego East High School; had a one-time
choice to determine if they would prefer to spend their high
school career at Oswego East High School.

Incoming sixth-grade students from
Lakewood Creek
Elementary School and Boulder Hill Elementary School
students residing in the Saratoga Springs, Orchard
Prairie North and Orchard Prairie Cluster
subdivisions will attend
Traughber Junior High School (rather than Plank Junior
High).
A one-time Family Choice* option is available for families
that may have siblings currently attending Plank Junior High
who chose to have their sixth-grade student also attend
Plank Junior High for the remainder of their junior high
school career.

Beginning in the 2009-10 school year, incoming
freshmen residing in the Lakewood Creek Elementary
School boundaries, and Saratoga Springs, Orchard
Prairie North and Orchard Prairie Cluster
subdivisions would attend Oswego High School (rather than
Oswego East High School). A one-time Family Choice* option
will be available for families that may have siblings
currently attending OEHS who chose to have their freshman
student also attend OEHS for the remainder of their high
school career.
