About the Administration

 

Pamela Jensen, Principal

Mrs. Pam Jensen grew up in Yorkville, Illinois. She attended Illinois State University where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Jr. High/Middle School Education. Prior to coming to Oswego she worked at Washington Middle School in West Aurora as a math and computer teacher and later as a Dean of Students.

She received her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Northern Illinois University in 1998. She then traveled to Oswego in 2000 to become an assistant principal at Thompson Junior High School from 2000 – 2006. After that, she traveled across town to become an assistant principal at Plank Junior High School when it opened.

Pam is married to her husband, Jim, and they have two children, Brooke and Tyler. She likes to read, cook and spend time with her family.
 

Michelle Senffner, Assistant Principal

Mrs. Michelle Senffner is from Aurora Illinois. She attended Illinois State University where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education. Before coming to Oswego she worked in West Aurora School District for seven years.

 

She received her Masters Degree in Administration from Aurora University in 2001. She became a Dean of Students at Jefferson Middle School in Aurora and stayed in that position from 2001-2004.

 

Michelle is a mother of two, a son Peyton and a daughter Mackenzie. Michelle's husband is a Physical Education Teacher at Oswego East High School.

 

Jason Schmidtgall, Assistant Principal

Mr. Jason Schmidtgall is originally from Morton, a small central IL town known as the Pumpkin Capital of the world.  He attended Eastern Illinois University and received his Bachelors in Biological Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Genetics). He then began his teaching career in Waukegan where he taught Biology and Human Anatomy for two years. He moved to teaching Science at West Aurora for four years until coming to Oswego.

 

He enjoys running, biking, swimming and was active coaching until coming to work at Bednarcik. His wife, who teaches high school accounting, and he recently moved to Oswego and they have a little boy named Evan.
